Trump moves to Walter Reed Medical Center

Washington: As the American president’s helicopter landed at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethedsda, Maryland, his Twitter account released a brief, 18-second video message.

“I want to thank everybody for the tremendous support. I’m going to Walter Reed hospital, I think I’m doing very well but we’re going to to make sure that things work out”, Trump said in the video.

“The first lady is doing very well. So thank you very much I appreciate it thank you very much I’ll never forget it.”

The president will live and work in a suite of rooms at the medical centre for the next few days, the White House said.
