16 cases of coronavirus found in Metro Wholesale in Meerut

Even though business activities have been allowed to be held during coronavirus pandemic, but necessary safety precautions have to be followed.

The important measures include sanitization, thermal screening, monitoring, and detection of cases before employees are allowed to enter the premises of the institute or shop or company.

However, in Baghpat Road in metropolitan Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, 16 employees were found coronavirus positive in Metro Wholesale.

This is due to a lack of fulfillment of the responsibilities of the officials and the ignorance of the metro management to abide by the government’s guidelines.

As teams from the health department are going everywhere to screen people, 135 employees working in Metro Wholesale were also checked at Baghpat Road in Meerut.

After the screening, it found that 16 employees have been infected with the virus and thus, the Metro has been closed for 48 hours.

Medical officer Dr. Meghna Srivastava has asked all the personnel working in the Metro Wholesale to go through corona tests.

It seems the officials of the organization didn’t follow the rules of the health department of informing them if they find any symptoms of coronavirus appear among their employees.

The focus of the management on maximizing profits during the festive season and neglecting the health of the employees has caused this huge problem in the lives of everyone involved in the organization.
