Opinion poll: Mamta government may continue in Bengal

New Delhi: In West Bengal, Congress, Left and now Trinamool Congress have been dominating, but in the assembly elections this time it seems that BJP is going to be a strong party. This time the TMC is going to compete directly with the BJP rather than the Left or the Congress, it is a different matter that the Trinamool Congress has a clear edge in the electoral battle this time. There is a possibility of emerging as a clear winner with 156 seats.

According to the survey, the BJP can increase its number of seats from three to 100. The Left Front-Congress alliance is projected to finish third with only 35 seats.

According to the survey, Trinamool is likely to get 42.8 percent and BJP 38 percent vote. The swing vote percentage is in favor of the BJP, which can rise from 10.2 percent in the 2016 elections to 38 percent in the 2021 election. In contrast, the Trinamool may get 2.1 percent less votes. The Left Front-Congress alliance is estimated to get 12.9 percent votes, compared to 25 percent in 2016.

As per the estimated range of seats, TMC is projected to get 148 to 164 seats, after that BJP can get 90-108 seats and Left Front-Congress 31 to 39 seats and remaining 1-5 seats to independents.
