New Delhi: More than 16 thousand new cases of corona infection have been coming in the country since three days, while active cases have also increased and their rate has increased to 1.44 percent. Meanwhile, one crore 42 lakh 42 thousand 547 people have been vaccinated in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, there have been 16,488 new cases of corona infection, which has increased the number of infected to one crore 10 lakh 79 thousand. Earlier, there were 16,738 cases on 25 February and 16,577 cases on 26 February.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday morning, during the last 24 hours, 12,771 patients have become healthy, including one crore seven lakh 63 thousand 451 people have been coronated so far. 3604 active cases have increased to 1.59 lakh. During the same period, the death toll from this disease has increased to one lakh 56 thousand 938 with 113 more patients dying. The recovery rate in the country has come down to 97.14 and the rate of active cases has increased to 1.44 percent while the death rate is still 1.42 percent.
Maharashtra has topped the corona’s active cases and the number has risen to 68,810, with the state increasing to 8349 active cases during the last 24 hours. In the state, 4936 patients became healthy, the number of those who beat Corona has increased to 20.17 lakh, while the death toll of 48 more patients has increased to 52,041. During the last 24 hours in Kerala, the number of active cases has fallen by 485 to 51,679 and the health of 4142 patients has beaten the corona to 9.96 lakhs, while the death of 14 more patients has increased to 4164 on the second day
