New Delhi: DGCA has become stricter due to negligence on wearing masks and adhering to social distancing. The DGCA has said in its instruction that from entering the airport premises to leaving the premises one must wear masks in the right manner. Apart from this, social distancing will also have to be followed. DGCA said that despite proper warning, if any passenger violates the Corona Protocol, then it will be handed over to the security agencies and legal action will be taken. In addition, if you remove masks or violate the Corona protocol after entering the aircraft, then they will be de-boarded from the aircraft.
DGCA new rules
- Now all passengers will be required to wear their masks at all times during the air journey and must maintain the necessary standards of social distancing. The mask will not be able to go down the nose except for unavoidable reasons or exceptional conditions.
- With this, police personnel or CISF personnel posted at the airport entry will now ensure that no one is allowed to enter the airport without wearing a mask. CASO and other supervisory officers will now have to personally ensure this essential thing.
- At the same time, the Airport Director / Terminal Manager will ensure that the passengers wear their masks properly and always maintain the rules of social distancing within the airport premises.
- If any passenger is overlooking breaking the COVID-19 protocol, it will be handed over to the security agencies present there after proper warning.
- Now if in the aircraft during the flight, a passenger will not wear the mask correctly even after repeated warnings, it will be de-boarded before take-off.
