American TV host Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting and serving as a executive producer for the 2020 Primetime Emmy Awards for ABC.
It is still not clear whether this year’s Emmy’s will be held online or as a physical event. However, Kimmel shared that he is doing the show and will be hosting it.
As per reports, the 53 years old comedian will be hosting the show for the third time for the ABC network.
The move comes a day after the Television Academy announced that the Creative Arts ceremonies would be going online due to coronavirus restrictions.
The broadcast TV network, ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke shared that Kimmel’s presence as an emcee will bring in a lot of joy and optimism to the television colleagues and viewers at home as he will organize this momentous event with heart and humour.
