Filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor who introduced the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput to Bollywood by giving him his first film Kai Po Che! plans to pay a special tribute to SSR.
Abhishek along with his wife Pragya Kapoor will be feeding 3,400 poor families through ]NGO, Ek Saath: The Earth Foundation in memory of SSR.
Pragya told to a news portal that the noble act is a way of honouring SSR and his craft and to celebrate everything that he has done so far.
Abhishek and Pragya attended at Sushant’s funeral, which took place at the Pawan Hans crematorium on June 15.
The successful and talented actor was found dead at his Bandra home on June 14. As per police reports, the actor had committed suicide and no note was found.
Abhishek and Sushant had worked together as director-actor duo in two films – Kai Po Che! and Kedarnath. The first film was a huge hit whereas, the latter was a flop.
