Twitter labels Sambit Patra’s tweet as manipulated media

New Delhi: Twitter has taken a big step on the alleged toolkit in the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party amid Corona crisis, calling BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra’s tweet a ‘manipulated media’.

In fact, Sambit Patra made a tweet on May 18, in which he claimed that the Congress party is working to spoil the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the midst of the Corona crisis through a toolkit. Sambit Patra claimed that the Congress is doing a PR exercise, through which the atmosphere is being created against the government with the help of some intellectuals. In this tweet, a paper was shared, in which the letterhead of Congress was given and how the tweet and information was to be shared on social media.

Now Twitter has taken action on that tweet by Patra and has marked this tweet in the manipulated media. According to Twitter’s policy, if any information you tweet, its source is not accurate and the available information is also wrong, then such a label is put on.

On behalf of the Congress, a letter was written to the Delhi Police Commissioner demanding registration of an FIR against Sambit Patra, JP Nadda. Congress student wing NSUI has also registered a case against Sambit Patra.
