Myanmar security forces attacked a church and inflicted heavy damage on it. According to Vatican News, Myanmar’s armed security forces attacked a Catholic church located in the Loika area of ​​Kaya province. The exact number of people killed and injured in this attack was not known till the time of writing this news. Locals say that the attack by Myanmar’s security forces caused a lot of damage to the church.

There has also been heavy damage to homes and old age homes near the church which was attacked by Myanmar security forces. Over 150 children and women have taken shelter in this old age home for the past few weeks. Before this attack, church officials had told the security forces that many people were taking shelter here, so any kind of attack should be avoided.

The UN office in Myanmar announced on Tuesday that nearly 100,000 people were forced to flee their homes following bloody clashes with the military in eastern Myanmar’s Kaya province.

It is noteworthy that after the military rebellion in Myanmar on February 1, 2021, the army has taken power in its hands. Since this military mutiny, there have been many clashes between the army and the people and in many cities people have risen up with arms against the army.
