Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur is also on a two-day visit to Kullu. When the Union Minister’s convoy left the airport, there was a clash between the police officers.
It is being told that outside Bhuntar Airport, SP Kullu slapped an ASP rank officer of CM Security. An argument broke out between the two regarding the security arrangements. The debate increased so much that the SP slapped the ASP in front of everyone. After this, the ASP of CM Security also kicked and punched the SP Kullu.
People and officials present on the spot intervened. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. At present, no statement has come from any senior police officer regarding this incident.
On the other hand, after the uproar, orders have been given to DIG Central Range Mandi Madhusudan to investigate the matter. At the same time, Himachal Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu has also left for Kullu from Shimla. It is being told that in this case both the officers can be punished.
