New Delhi: After the successful bet of 200 units of free electricity in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party’s convener Arvind Kejriwal has decided to try the same bet in the assembly elections to be held in Punjab. In a press conference on Tuesday, he said that if AAP wins the Punjab Assembly elections, up to 300 units of electricity will be given free to every family. Along with this, he also promised waiver of old electricity bills in 24 hours.

Before the Punjab tour, Arvind Kejriwal recently tweeted in Punjabi and said, ‘Punjab wants change. Only Aam Aadmi Party is the hope. Before leaving for Punjab on Tuesday morning, Kejriwal had given political indications of his visit by tweeting, he wrote in the tweet, ‘Punjab is getting ready for a new morning and I will reach Punjab, meet just a few Hours later.

It is worth noting that the assembly elections are to be held in Punjab next year, in such a situation, the political activity in the state is gradually increasing. Aam Aadmi Party and Shiromani Akali Dal are posing a challenge to the ruling Congress in the state.
