Five convicts from Bihar’s Jamui detention facility, who were facing horrific accusations, could flee by smashing the glass. Officials have stated. They’d all been involved in a slew of crimes recently, including murder and motorbike theft. Three on-duty home guard jawans have been detained pending an inquiry.
Apart from the iron rod the accused used to smash through the glass panes, the police found no further evidence at the scene. According to a top official from the social welfare department, the authorities have decided to undertake a departmental inquiry into the recurrent cases of convicts escaping in Bihar.

The remand house is near the Neema river, between the Jamui-Khaira major road and the Town police station. There were just ten detainees at the Jamui remand facility, but six house guard jawans and others were stationed there 24 hours a day. Detained home guard jawans were investigating the escape.
According to authorities, the crime was discovered after the detention home’s security guard couldn’t find the iron rods on the window of one of the toilets in the main barrack. Five prisoners were discovered missing during the subsequent emergency census. All five of the escapees were alleged to have been let out of their wards to play.

An inquiry committee has been formed under the supervision of the DDC, according to Jamui DM Awanish Kumar. The convicts who fled from the home, according to the DM, were teens who faced severe crimes. This frequently causes severe issues in remand facilities, which are designed for kids who have run afoul of the law,” Awanish noted. Police have begun a search for the kid, according to Sadar SDPO Dr Rakesh Kumar.
