Ajay Misra, Union Minister of State (MoS), has reaffirmed that his son Ashish was not aboard the automobile that mowed down farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri on Sunday. On Wednesday, he stated that the automobile was registered with them. On that tragic day, the BJP leader also said unequivocally that his son, Ashish, was not in the car that some miscreants assaulted. The police complaint names Misra and his son Ashish as suspects in the fatal violence in the Lakhimpur Kheri district on Sunday, which left eight people dead.
“After picking up our personnel, the car was supposed to pick up someone. My son was at a different location. He was planning another event from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. There were thousands of people there, including my kid. Videos and pictures are available upon request. “We can examine our call records and location,” MoS Ajay Misra told a TV news station.

The union minister also shot off rumours that the party’s top leadership had been called to Delhi. Misra stated that he would arrive in Delhi tonight or tomorrow since he has several projects lined up. “Only a piece of audio from my talk to farmers at an event is being broadcast in the media,” the Minister stated, referring to an unconfirmed video that has surfaced in connection with the incident.
“Some Khalistani elements were present at the scene of the event, and Bhindranwale posters were also displayed,” said MoS Teni. A viral and unconfirmed video reportedly showing an SUV belonging to his family running over slogan-shouting farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri appeared on social media the day before the minister’s statement.

The protestors were allegedly ran down by an SUV driven by Ashish Mishra, according to the farmers. A group of farmers protesting in the Tikonia area of Kheri attempted to prevent Misra and Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya from visiting. The protestors were enraged over Mishra’s recent address.
