On Thursday morning, a low-intensity explosion occurred inside courtroom number 102 at Rohini district court, injuring a constable. A tiny piece of the courthouse floor caved in as a result of the explosion. The judicial proceedings have been halted, according to police. “We have contacted the FSL specialists to determine the actual cause of the explosion,” said DCP (Rohini district) Pranav Tayal.

At about 10.40 a.m., the fire service received a call that a blast had occurred within the Rohini court. The fire department said, “Seven fire engines were quickly dispatched to the scene, and at 11:05 a.m., the rescue team was informed that one person was injured.” Delhi Police Spokesperson Chinmoy Biswal said: “At 10:35 a.m., a small low-power explosion occurred in a laptop bag at the Rohini Court Complex. An area was highlighted. It is being researched and tested by a criminologist and a team of NSGs.”
Meanwhile, a lawyer stated that all court procedures have been halted as a result of the event. According to sources, the explosion occurred in a laptop, although officials have yet to confirm this. The bomb occurred in courtroom 102 of the metropolitan magistrate, where traffic-related issues are heard, according to the Delhi Police.

Constable Rajiv Kumar of the Sultanpuri police station has been recognised as the wounded court employee. For treatment, he was transferred to the Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital. Two armed men acting as attorneys shot and killed mobster Jitender Maan alias Gogi inside Rohini district court in September before being shot and killed by police. When Gogi was brought before the court, they opened fire.
