Putting money in people’s account is not going to improve the situation: KV Subramaniam

New Delhi: The world economy has slowed down along with India due to Corona epidemic. On Friday, Reserve Bank Governor Shaktikanta Das said that the impact of the virus on the country’s economy is more serious than expected. There has been a terrible drop in demand. This may deepen in the coming days due to unemployment crisis.

Amidst these circumstances, Chief Economic Advisor KV Subramaniam said in a conversation with a private channel that putting money in people’s account is not going to improve the situation.

Here, Rahul Gandhi and Congress have been demanding from the government for the last several weeks that financial help should be provided to the poor, laborers and MSMEs. He says that people should be sent 7500 rupees a month in the accounts for the next six months and immediate Rs 10,000 should be given.
