The scheme was launched by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. CM Yogi stated that Atalji’s inspiration will always be in the capacity of a guide at this time. The administration has also fulfilled the most important promise made in the BJP’s Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra 2017: the distribution of free tablets and smart phones to students.
Smartphones and tablets will not only supply online course material for students, but also job-related information. All cellphones and tablets, he claimed, have the DG Shakti Adhyayan App loaded. The respective institution or department will make study materials available to students via the app. The government will also provide information about job-oriented programmes via boot logos and wall paper.
The government is contracting with IT giant Infosys, according to Kumar Vineet, MD of UPdesco, the scheme’s nodal agency. With this, the youngsters would get free access to 3900 Infosys programmes linked to education and jobs. In smart phones and tablets, the best course material will be made available to the young for study, competitive assessments, and jobs.

This will allow him to become self-sufficient and independent. In the first part of the initiative, which will be hosted in Lucknow, free smartphones and tablets will be distributed to state students in their final year. Following that, programmes will be organised and delivered at the district level. Those adolescents who have not yet enrolled can do so on the Digi Shakti site starting tomorrow.
