Karnataka‘s health minister, Dr K Sudhakar, said on Friday that 107 new Omicron cases had been reported (January 7). In the state, the total number of Omicrons has reached 333.

Sudhakar tweeted “On January 6th, 107 new Omicron cases were confirmed in Karnataka, bringing the total number of Omicron cases to 333,”. The affected people have been isolated, according to health experts.
A high warning has been issued in the Karnataka district of Mandya after 84 worshippers tested positive for coronavirus. They returned on a visit to the Om Shakti temple in Tamil Nadu on Friday, according to district officials.

COVID-19 cases have remained on the rise in Karnataka, with 5,031 new infections reported on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 30,22,603 and the death toll to 38,358. Bengaluru Urban was responsible for 4,324 of the new cases. The total number of cases under progress is 22,173.
