The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, and his predecessor Akhilesh Yadav have extended their condolence messages to veteran journalist Kamal Khan who died today morning. A statement was released from the Chief Minister’s office that said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji has condoled the death of the senior journalist Shri Kamal Khan. The office mentioned that the Yogi has prayed for the peace of the departed soul and also shared his condolences with the bereaved family members.

At an election event, Akhilesh Yadav also expressed his condolences about the loss of the journalist. He shared how the veteran journalist had his command over languages of both Urdu and Hindi. He appreciated the journalist’s skills and how deeply pained he is. He shared that he stands with Kamal Khan’s family in these difficult times and also pray to God to give his family and friends the strength to bear this loss.

On Friday morning, the 61 years old Kamal Khan died at his home in Lucknow after suffering from a heart attack. He worked with NDTV for more than three decades.
