Kamal Khan gets condolence messages from Yogi Adityanath

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, and his predecessor Akhilesh Yadav have extended their condolence messages to veteran journalist Kamal Khan who died today morning. A statement was released from the Chief Minister’s office that said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji has condoled the death of the senior journalist Shri Kamal Khan. The office mentioned that the Yogi has prayed for the peace of the departed soul and also shared his condolences with the bereaved family members.

At an election event, Akhilesh Yadav also expressed his condolences about the loss of the journalist. He shared how the veteran journalist had his command over languages of both Urdu and Hindi. He appreciated the journalist’s skills and how deeply pained he is. He shared that he stands with Kamal Khan’s family in these difficult times and also pray to God to give his family and friends the strength to bear this loss.

On Friday morning, the 61 years old Kamal Khan died at his home in Lucknow after suffering from a heart attack. He worked with NDTV for more than three decades. The journalist is known for his in-depth research about Uttar Pradesh politics and also delivering hard truths with a poetic angle to the same. 

The year definitely has started on a bad note with increasing cases of coronavirus disease and veteran people leaving this world due to the COVID or major illnesses like heart disease, cancer, and prolonged illnesses. Some people are also giving up on life due to age-related issues and some are due to the inability of managing the changes that are coming in life.
