The poster girl for the Congress’s ‘Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon’ election campaign, Priyanka Maurya, in Uttar Pradesh, claims that she was denied a ticket for the assembly elections because she refused to pay the party a bribe.

She claimed that she accomplished all of the tasks, but the tickets were not given to her and tickets were already pre-arranged a month ago. She also delivered a message for the head of party, Priyanka Gandhi about such things in the party.
She also stated she received a call from an unknown person asking for money in exchange for a ticket, which she denied.
“Despite my persistent efforts in the constituency, I was denied a ticket for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. My image was featured in the ‘Ladki Hoon Lad Sakti Hoon’ campaign. I received a phone call from someone who wanted to pay for a ticket, which I declined “she stated.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched a campaign for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections to directly target female voters under the slogan “Ladki hun Lad Sakti hun.” In recent months, such marathons have been held under the direction of Priyanka Gandhi.
Meanwhile, assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh will be contested in seven parts from February 10 to March 7.
