The budget, according to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is progressive for all segments of society, particularly farmers, women, and youth. Important announcements such as the MSP, plans to double farmers’ income, 60 lakh employment for young people, and women empowerment initiatives such as Mission Shakti will all contribute to the state’s economic growth.

On the other hand, Congressman Shashi Tharoor and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee both lashed out at the Centre, expressing their displeasure with the Union Budget 2022.

The Union Budget, according to Tharoor, is a “damp squib” and is exceedingly disappointing.

“This Budget appears to be devoid of any substance. It’s an incredibly depressing Budget. When you listen to the speech, there is no mention of MGNREGA, Defence, or any other pressing public issues “Shashi Tharoor made a statement.

The West Bengal chief minister described the budget as a pegasus spin budget, claiming that the administration is lost in large words.
