Jio partnership is helping Netflix attract Indian users

American streaming service Netflix’s latest association with Reliance Jio seems to be a win-win for the company.

You ask why and the reason is that the OTT platform has an increased 4.6 million paid subscribers in India this year, as per a recent study.

By the end of 2020, Netflix is said to have over 25 million users in the Asia Pacific region and India seems to have contributed for the company’s global revenue growth by 9% in Q3 2020.

Just in September, Netflix India tied up with Jio to provide a free mobile-only subscription to post-paid subscribers for plans starting at Rs. 399/-

Now, with the reported revenue growth and exploring relations with the Jio’s subscribers, it seems to have worked in favour of the streaming platform.
