Indian Railways’ Doodh Duronto special train provides uninterrupted milk supply

Indian Railways has launched Doodh Duronto Special Train in the wake of coronavirus pandemic crisis.

As the name suggests, the train will be ensuring that there is uninterrupted supply of milk.

It has been launched by South Central Railway zone of Indian Railways from Renigunta in the state of Andhra Pradesh to Delhi.

The train aims to make sure that there is enough supply of milk and recently crossed supplying 4 crore liters of milk.

The special train has milk tanks, which transports milk from Renigunta to Delhi’s Hazarath Nizamuddin railway station.

The railway officials take utmost care while loading and follow safety measures such physical social distancing, sanitization, and staff hygiene in order to keep the train’s operations going.
