The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has taken a decision of not conducting exams for remaining papers of Class 10 and Class 12 due to the coronavirus extended lockdown and fear of increasing pandemic.
The board exams were pending for some subjects of Class 10 and Class 12 as they had to be cancelled in March 2020 due to the nationwide lockdown imposed to curb the spread of coronavirus within the country.
Earlier, the board thought of holding the exams in May 2020 but again it could not be implemented due to extension of lockdown and its restrictions.
Now, the board has finally decided not to hold the exams for the remaining subjects.
Marks for the pending papers will be provided seeing the internal assessment of students. Nobody would be failed in the pending subjects and minimum passing marks would be given to students of Class 10 and Class 12 this year.
