Teachers request Maharashtra Class 10, 12 board exams to be postponed

Many teachers in schools and colleges of Maharashtra have sent their request to the state education department to delay the class 10 and 12 board exams for the current academic year.

As 2020-21 academic schedule has been disturbed in the most negative way due to the coronavirus pandemic and its lockdown, teachers and staff are finding it challenging.

Many teachers are extremely anxious how will students prepare for the board exams if they are held as per the regular schedule.

Although HSC (Class 12) exams are held in February and SSC (Class 10) exams are conducted in March, teachers are sharing their difficulties on how both students and teachers are extremely stressed out to finish the syllabus through online learning and it is not as expected as compared to physical classes.

Teachers are also expecting the education department to give them clear instructions on holding oral/practical exams quite well in advance as future of the students is at stake.
