The government of Punjab has created District School Education Reform Teams to keep a check on the activities of schools.
As per the school education department of the state, the concerned District Education Officer (Sec. Edu.) would act as the lead of the District Education Reform Team.
Such teams are formed so that the co-ordination work happens between the officials smoothly in order to maintain quality education in schools with the activities of ‘Parho Punjab, Paraho Punjab’.
These teams would support in implementing various projects of the state such as Punjab Achievement Survey, Smart School Project, English Booster Club, Welcome Life, Buddy Group, Mission Shat-Pratishat and enrolment drive.
The members of such teams will also encourage school principals, teachers and staff to convert their schools into smart schools and also follow the guidelines given by the government to fight the pandemic.
