Concept of the day: Digital Marketing

Digital marketing is all about reaching out to the internet users who might have interest in your product or service.

For example, if you are running an education blog that is specifically for graduation students, you need to understand where are these graduates on the internet and using which digital platform to socialize with each other.

If your target audience uses Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn extensively to socialize and upgrade their career, then you need to design your digital marketing strategy accordingly.

Now Facebook is a social platform, anyone and everyone can like your fanpage. So, if your posts are entertaining as well as informative, you can have many likes of any people of the age group 17-20 who are currently college students to turn graduates in the coming years.

Twitter is an open platform, so you can write about the current topics that is trending in the education sector and invite people’s and expert’s opinions on your blogs in the form of Tweets and followership.

LinkedIn being a professional network, you need to have only those blogs posted, which will even interest a manager or recruitment head of a company so that will expand your reach and target audience as well.

So, digital marketing is all about having presence and promoting your brand in those online platforms, which have your current target audience and can attract more high-profile users who may have interest in your target audience.
