NSUI Goa asks offline classes to stop for Class 10, 12 students

In Goa, less than 30% students attended classes 9 and 12 on the first day after the schools were reopened.

Thus, National Students Union of India (NSUI) Goa has demanded the government officials to cancel the offline classes of classes 9 and 12 in the state.

The reason for the same is parents are afraid to send their children to schools owing to the risk of coronavirus spread.

As per the official release, the NSUI Goa asked the government that if there are no students then why physical classes, just carry on with the online classes as it was conducted before because it is a safe mode of education. Once a week, practicals and doubts-clearing sessions can be held.

NSUI Goa stated that the students will meet their friends without following the social distancing norms. Thus, it will be just impossible to follow the standard operating procedures.
