Mamta asks for Amit Shah’s resignation

Kolkata: Four people were killed when the CISF allegedly opened fire in West Bengal’s Cooch Behar district on Saturday after being attacked by locals. Polling at that polling booth has been postponed based on an interim report of special observers and a detailed report is sought from the Chief Election Commission in the evening. At the same time, after this violence, the phase of counter-attack in BJP and TMC has intensified.

Mamta Banerjee has strongly attacked the Modi government at the Center and demanded the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah. He said that CISF has shot and killed 4 people in Sitalkuchi (Cooch Behar) today. There was another death in the morning. CRPF is not my enemy, but a conspiracy is going on on the instructions of the Home Minister and today’s incident is a proof.

Let us tell that after the Cooch Behar incident, a delegation of TMC leaders reached to meet the Election Commission, while a BJP delegation would reach the Election Commission officials by evening. Apart from this, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will visit the place in Cooch Behar tomorrow, where four people died in the firing today.
