This Sindhi style kadhi is a delicious recipe, you can pair this kadhi with steamed rice or roti.
1/2 Cup toor dal soaked 8-9 bowls of bhindi, cut into two pieces Half bowls peas 8-9 cluster beans, cut into two pieces 2 drumsticks, cut into small pieces Two three tbsp besan1 tomato
Pureed 2 green chilies 1.5 tsp grated ginger 10 curry leaves Pinch haldi powder A pinch hing1 tsp jeera
1/2 tsp red chili powder 1-2 tsp kokum or tamarind paste Freshly chopped coriander, to garnish salt, to taste oil, as needed
Boil the dal with some salt and haldi powder. Heat oil in a kadhai and add jeera and hing to it. Let it splutter. Add besan to it and fry on low flame.
To it, add all the spices and tomato puree and cook until the mix leaves oil. Add the boiled dal to it with the vegetables. Boil everything together. When the dish is almost cooked, lower the flame, add the tamarind or kokum paste, and mix.
Adjust the salt, switch off the flame, and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice.
