Uttar PradeshThieves fail to steal Pitbull dog, tie it to CCU gate

Meerut: There are many stories about Pitbull dogs attacking humans and cattle. After a Pitbull dog had killed an 80-year-old retired female teacher in Lucknow and attacked and injured a 16-year-old boy in Meerut, the administration has banned keeping Pitbull. Nevertheless, there was a different story of a Pitbull dog from Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. Four persons, trying to steal a Pitbull dog, put it in an e-rickshaw. As soon as they kept it in the vehicle, the canine attacked four of them. Failing to endure its attacks, the thieves tied the dog to the gate of the Chaudhary Charan Singh University and ran away. As the news of Pitbull theft spread, several people flocked to the site and started offering food to quell it, but the dog was in no mood to relent. On getting information, the police rushed to the spot and took the dog to the police station.

They posted a picture of the dog on social media and many people claimed to be the dog’s owner reached the police station. When its real owner Subhash Chaudhary came to the police station, the dog heaved a sigh of relief recognising its master. The policemen finally handed over the dog to Chaudhary.
