Paramedical courses will now be initiated in all medical institutes across Uttar Pradesh to increase the number of proficient paramedical staff. The decision was taken to improve the quality of medical care. Several diploma courses will be offered in various subjects such as laboratory technician, orthopedic and plaster technician, etc.
According to the information received some of the courses already existed. According to the latest strategy all state–run colleges will run the maximum possible number of diploma courses.
The medical education board has planned a total of 2,714 seats that will be available at over a dozen medical institutes across the state. The courses will be taught by experienced faculty members from the medical field. This will further help the students to gain good experience.
The course will help to get trained para-medical staff for the sensitive work inside OT, and ICU, where experience has to play a significant role.
The doctors engaged in teaching tasks for para-medical courses will also get recognition. This will further help to boom the medical and health care unit in the state.
