Lucknow: A former Member of Parliament belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Hari Narain Rajbhar has received a threat call from an unidentified person for his remark on Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP) from Mau, Abbas Ansari. Rajbhar commented that the MLA is absconding. Hari Narain Rajbhar said that Ansari had taken shelter in the house of the head of SBSP, OP Rajbhar.
The former MP got the call when he was talking to people who were at his residence in Viram Khand area of Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The caller wanted to know from the BJP leader the reason for making a statement about Ansari and told him to be ready for consequences.
On the ground of the complaint filed by the former MP, an FIR has been registered against an unidentified person, said deputy commissioner of police Prachi Singh. The matter is being investigated, she said.
