Lucknow: BJP raised the slogan of ‘Congress Mukt Desh’ in 2014. The party is moving in the same direction since that time. In 2014, BJP was able to Limit Congress to only two seat in Uttar Pradesh. Rahul Gandhi from Amethi and Sonia Gandhi from Raebareli were able to win their seats. No other congress leader was able to manage his seat. BJP and alliance bagged 73 seats out of 80 in that election. It was more than enough, but BJP decided not to rest untill the defeat of Rahul and Sonia. BJP managed to demolish the fort of Amethi in 2019 but Sonia remained unbeaten from Raebareily. This time BJP has an eye over Sonia’s seat. In the swear in ceremony of Yogi Adityanath and his ministers, as BJP preferred Dinesh Pratap Singh over Aditi, it could be understood, clearly.

Aditi Singh, daughter of robbinhood of Raebareily, Akhilesh Singh left Congress and joined BJP. She was well aware that, Dinesh Pratap Singh, who is among her geographical rivals, is in BJP before her. She joined the party, though she knew that her joining is a loss to personal vote bank, that has been created by her father, Akhilesh Singh. Sources say that the reason behind her dare was that, she was much sure of being a minister in the government. All her hopes shattered when BJP preffered Dinesh Pratap Singh over her. The reason of preference is, 2024 loksabha election.

What BJP think?
The political experts says, BJP is planning to field Dinesh Pratap Singh against the working president of Congress Sonia Gandhi. This time in 2022 Vidhan Sabha elections Dinesh’s brother, Rakesh Pratap Singh lost his seat from Harchandpur. Last time he was Congress MLA from that seat. If the scenario of 2017 and 2022 is compared for Dinesh then between the period of 2017 and 2022, Dinesh had all the power within the district of Raebareli. He himself was MLC, one of his brother was MLA, and the second brother of him was Zila Panchayat Adhyaksh of Raebareli. Whereas in 2022, his brother Rakesh lost his seat of MLA, the other brother also is not Zila Panchayat Adhyaksh, and even Dinesh is not MLC right now. Though he has been fielded by BJP from Raebareli local bodies seat of Vidhan Parishad, The Upper house of Uttar Pradesh. Will he be able to win or not would be decided by the time of the announcement of the result. The BJP is of an idea to increase power of Dinesh Pratap Singh in Raebareli so that he could manage not only to contest well but also defeat Sonia Gandhi from the seat. This was the only reason that BJP preferred Dinesh over Aditi in the Council of Ministers of yogi Adityanath government.
