Firozabad: An old enmity led to the murder of a 25-year-old man in Madhavganj under Shikohabad police station on Sunday, the police said on Monday. He was battered to death. According to a senior police officer, the youth Vikas, a resident of Chhattanpur under Nasirpur police station, developed bad blood with some anti-social elements in Shikohbad.

When Vikas was returning home on Sunday, the thugs stopped him near Madhavganj. No sooner the youth had stopped than the goons began to beat him up with sticks. He suffered severe injuries and died. The official said that the police registered a case against the culprits after Vikas’s family members had lodged a complaint.
