Hardoi (UP): A tractor-trolley carrying 24 people fell off a bridge across the Garra river under Pali police station in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, official sources said. The incident occurred when the driver of the tractor-trolley lost control and fell off the bridge.

According to district magistrate Avinash Kumar, all the 24 people, belonging to Begrajpur village, were farmers and had gone to Pali market to sell their produce. The accident occurred when they were returning home, Kumar said, adding that, 13 people swam to safety and the rescue teams were searching for 11 others.
