Banda (UP): A band of thieves stabbed a man to death in Baberu town of Uttar Pradesh’s Banda district, the police said on Sunday. According to superintendent of police Abhinandan, a band of unidentified thieves stole into a house in Gayatri Nagar area on Saturday night.
The son of house owner Munna Gupta’s 24-year-old son Jitendra chased the thieves on a motorcycle. But just as he came close to the criminals, they overpowered him and stabbed him to death. On getting information, the police rushed to the spot and began to investigate the case. The police also brought sniffer dogs to find the criminals. An FIR has been lodged against the culprits.
