Kejriwal appeal to postpone marriages in Delhi

New Delhi: The rising cases of corona virus across the world have left everyone in panic. The case of Corona has also been detected in the country’s capital Delhi. Being the center of the country, the movement of foreign province or foreigners in Delhi is more than that of everywhere. In such a situation, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has appealed to the people of Delhi not to mobilize. He said that programs with crowds of more than 50 people would not be approved except for wedding ceremonies. He added to his statement that if possible, postpone the wedding ceremonies.

Along with this, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has directed to install portable handwash stations in different parts of Delhi to avoid the corona virus. The Chief Minister said this during a review meeting with all district officials on measures to prevent the spread of corona virus through video conferencing.

Earlier, the CM had said that to prevent the virus, it has been made mandatory to make all public places including government, private offices, shopping malls free of infection. The Delhi government has declared the corona virus an epidemic. The vacant flats of Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board will be used for separate centers in the context of corona virus.

At the same time, the Delhi government had already given orders for daily cleaning of DTC, cluster buses, metro, hospitals.
