Unnao (Uttar Pradesh): If a snake bites a man or someone dear to him in his presence what he generally does he kills the reptile or shoos it away. Yet, there was an incident in which a resident of Afzal Nagar area in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao district caught a snake after it bit his wife and took the reptile to the district hospital along with his wife, sources said on Friday.

According to reports, Ramendra Yadav caught the snake that bit his wife in the early hours of Friday and put it into a plastic bottle. He took his wife and the snake to the district hospital where the woman is being treated.

When the doctors wanted to know from Yadav the reasons for bringing the snake to the hospital, he said that he had done so to help them get first-hand information about the snake and treat his wife well. Yadav said that he would release the snake in the forest after the discharge of his wife from the hospital. He also made a hole in the plastic bottle so that the snake can breathe.
