    AIMPLB says, Muslims are in more difficult situation than in 1857, 1947

    Lucknow: All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) general scretary Maulana Saifullah Rahmani, said on Monday that Indian Muslims are going through a more difficult situation than in 1857 and 1947 over their religious traditions. He urged to the muslim women, not to fall prey to  propaganda being spread against the Muslim Personal Law Board.

    Maulana Rahmani said, some extremist forces are trying to mislead us. Recently we saw issue of Hijab in Karnataka, that was actually a big test for the Muslims in that state. Personal law board is observing the issue from the day one and taking legal remedies over it.

    We are in the appex court

    Maulana Rahmani said, We are in the appex court over Hijab issue. An appeal has been filed against the decision of the Karnataka High Court. He said, I request the Muslims, especially the Muslim sisters, that does not get influenced by such propaganda and do not let the efforts being made to create resentment among them. In a video message he said, Muslims are going through a more difficult situation than in 1857 and 1947. Shariat-e-Islami is being attacked.
