Moradabad: The controversy over the remarks of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s former spokesperson Nupur Sharma against the Prophet has refused to die down. The Moradabad police arrested three persons on Friday for threatening a supporter of Sharma. In the social media post, the alleged accused threatened to kill the person who stood by Sharma, the police said, adding that the trio was being questioned.
Additional superintendent of police Sagar Jain said the accused were Mohammed Faizan, Shahnawaz Alam and Danish.

They threatened to kill the complainant Nirmal Kumar for supporting Nupur Sharma. The accused allegedly said that Nirmal would face a similar fate as those killed in Amravati and Udaipur.
