New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said that the country will remain closed for foreign tourism till the coronavirus vaccination campaign has been completed to its citizens by the end of the year.

Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the island country has seen over 2,000 COVID-19 cases and 26 deaths. The population of the country stands at 4.9 million. After the COVID-19 outbreak, the nation closed its borders for international travelers completely.
