Navratri is one of the longest and best festivals in India and spans 9 to 10 days. It is a festival that is celebrated in all parts of the country in different ways as per their community rituals and traditions. On the upcoming festival of Navratri, the IRCTC has planned to run a special tourist train that will start its initial run for Katra on 30 September 2022. This special train tour will be for four nights and five days. It will start from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station having 11 dedicated 3 Tier AC Coaches.

The train will have seats for almost 600 passengers in one way. So, people who are planning to visit Ghaziabad, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur, Ambala, Sirhind, and Ludhiana can get this amazing package of the special train service.

IRCTC stock recovers after Railways Ministry withdraws fee decision

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways. The trains are announced recently on the occasion of Navratri. The trains called s Navratri Special Tourist Trains are for the spiritual journey to Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. It comes under the new campaign launched by the government called Bharat Gaurav Rake and will operate from September 30. 

Every year, lakhs of devotees of Mata make a visit to the Mata Vaishno Devi temple located in Jammu and Kashmir. Due to the heavy rush and several people wanting to get blessings from Mata during the festive period, there is always a rush in these trains. Booking tickets and getting confirmed seats have always been a difficulty for devotees. Thus, IRCTC addressed this demanding challenge by introducing this new tour package.

The tourism package details are below:

IRCTC’s tour package comes at a price of Rs 13,780 for a single person.

For double seat booking, the price is Rs 11,990 per person.

Those with children between 5-11 years have to shell out Rs. 10,795.

If you are not alone and are going with your family or friends, then it becomes a group tour booking and the cost per person will become Rs 12,990.

Passengers can also pay using EMI options in 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, or 24-month EMIs. These EMI payment options can be done via Debit/Credit Cards. 

For the unaware, the Bharat Gaurav Trains are newly launched trains by the government for which IRCTC has ensured that it operates only for the purpose of theme-based tourism. The 14 Coaches 3 AC IRCTC Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains has amazing amenities and services that include aesthetically designed interiors to guarantee the maximum comfort of travelers.
