While many parts of India are still under coronavirus lockdown or curfew-like restrictions, there are many countries outside India that are opening up partially or fully for travelers from the world. This is because such countries have either vaccinated their entire population or they don’t have many problems of cases or deaths due to the coronavirus pandemic. Let us have a look at such nations opening up for international tourism.
1) Thailand plans to open up in the coming July but it will allow people from other countries only if they are fully vaccinated.
2) The United Kingdom had resumed its international tourism space on 17 May 2021. However, it has categorized nations into red, green, and amber so that the countries that fall in the red and green categories do not get authorization to travel to the UK.
3) Greece has already opened its doors for international tourism to people who are fully vaccinated or people who have proof that they are fully recovered and even those who carry negative RT-PCR test reports.
4) Iceland wants its tourists to get tested before and after arrival and even follow quarantine procedures. However, if you are fully vaccinated and have proof of recovery from the coronavirus disease, the quarantine period may be relaxed to a certain extent.
5) Malta in a way to boost international tourism announced in April that it will pay whosoever visits the country during this summer. The country has seen a good vaccination rate in Europe.
6) Poland is all welcome for fully vaccinated tourists. However, those not yet vaccinated can visit the country after getting tested and also follow a 10-day quarantine upon arrival.
International tourism had taken a hit since the last year due to the outbreak of the deadly virus. It is believed that once the pandemic comes to an end, India will become a coronavirus-free nation and will get an opportunity to travel to various countries without many restrictions and enjoy smooth travel.
