The Maldives still remains the most-visited place in the second wave of coronavirus

The island nation of Maldives has come up with an interesting tourism campaign called “I’m Vaccinated”, which talks about the importance of having a fully vaccinated tourism workforce in the picture. As per a report, the country’s tourism ministry has associated with ‘Visit Maldives’ to initiate the campaign.

The idea is to spread the message that the island’s tourism workforce is fully vaccinated and it is safe and comfortable for people to travel to the Maldives during this coronavirus pandemic. Also, some reports state that over 65% of eligible people in the Maldives have been vaccinated and 90% of the people working in the tourism industry have received their doses as well. Also, the members of the tourism sector who have got their vaccination done will wear a badge called ‘I’m Vaccinated’.

Currently, Maldives is open for tourism and people can enter the island with a negative PCR test report which has been taken not less than three days before their travel date. People who have received their doses of vaccination need not follow quarantine measures on the island.

No wonder why Bollywood celebrities and India’s rich people are flying in their private jets to the Maldives from India. To name a few, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor were seen enjoying their time in the Maldives recently.
