A hunger-relief organization in New York has come up with a unique idea to serve festive meal to people who are in need.
The move has come in the wake of U.S. Thanksgiving holiday that is approaching soon and also the pandemic situation that has led to loss of jobs and live in the country.
Food Bank For New York City distributed 500 turkeys, canned goods and produce to hundreds of families in the neighborhood of Harlem recently.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, millions of people living in America are out of job.
This encouraged Food Bank for New York City to collaborate with supermarket chain Stop & Shop to provide 2,000 turkeys in the upcoming two weeks.
