Travel and tourism industry has been badly hit like anything due to the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
Since all the tourist spots were closed in the last eight months, the officials are planning to reopen the places slowly in order to restart the travel industry.
Dudhwa Tiger Reserve (DTR) is a protected area in Uttar Pradesh and consists of the Dudhwa National Park, Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary and Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary.
The officials are planning to reopen the world-famous tourist place from 1 November 2020 to attract more visitors in the state.
Usually, the tourist period starts in Dudhwa from 15 November and ends on 15 June ever year.
However, since the revenue of the park is under losses because of the zero tourist activities in the last months, the officials will reopen the place to only those who clear thermal scanning and show no symptoms of coronavirus.
According to the Covid guidelines of the Uttar Pradesh government, tourists in the 11 to 64 years age-group would be allowed into the national park, it means tourists below 10 years and above 65 would be banned from entering the park.
