Do you believe Spiritual Tours can change your life?

TravelDo you believe Spiritual Tours can change your life?

Date:

Have you ever been to nearby temples recently? After all, the government has removed all the restrictions that they have imposed on the temples and religious places in recent times amid the coronavirus pandemic. If you haven’t visited any spiritual place in the last two months, then please go ahead and make that needed spiritual tour. I don’t want to convince here why you should go to temples or instill any sort of fear. All I am here is to share the lovely and beautiful experiences that I got when I made that spiritual tour to Pune-Pandharpur and Kolhapur for 2 days last month.

Noteworthy things to know about Tulja Bhavani Temple

The trip gave an immense sense of relief as we went to Balaji Mandir in Pune, Vitthal, and Rukmini Mandir in Pandharpur and visited Mahalakshmi temple in Kolhapur. The spiritual tour was one of the wishes of my in-laws who believed that these places have a lot of power to get clarity in life and also make things fall in place once the devotees visit these places.

Now, special pilgrimage weather forecast for Pandharpur Waari

Once returned, we didn’t immediately feel any change but somewhere down beneath our hearts, we felt a huge satisfaction in life. It helped us recover from our physical and mental illnesses that were caused due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. After all, staying back at home, losing out on all the hard-earned money on the hospitalization and funeral expenses of the loved ones wasn’t really easy on us. We also had developed a sense of fear to question our identity in these times.

Spiritual tourism is one of the upcoming trends in the travel industry. What got lost when we were chasing the materialistic needs and dreams, is being brought back again, thanks to the spiritual tours that we take on a regular basis. After a month, I developed the habit of visiting Lord Shiva’s temple in a nearby local place every Monday. When I was putting water on the Shiva linga, I developed a feeling of being protected against all the unwanted things in our lives.

I wondered always why I remained at the bottom of life when everyone was progressing and settling down in their lives. But visiting spiritual places helped me understand that not everyone is meant to reach the same place. Every one of us has a different journey and God has designed our life exactly how they should be. It is not that we cannot achieve success and lead a happy life like others. But always comparing ourselves with others and criticizing our mistakes and flaws will only put us in stressful modes.

I realized that spiritual trips should be taken at least once in a lifetime to a major place in India. If you cannot afford those places due to time and resource constraints, you can simply visit the nearby temple or attend a satsang or bhajan in a religious place once a month. You will feel a sense of belongingness with God who will make sure that every event that happens in your life is meant for you to reach the Higher purpose.
