Are you 18+? Tips to travel safely to your nearest vaccination centre

COVID-19 vaccines have become the need of the hour. You cannot escape from getting vaccinated if you have elderly people at home or you have plans to travel in public transport to commute to your workplace or college or you plan to travel outside your city/state/ country in the coming months.

You cannot just say that without getting the required two doses of vaccination against the coronavirus disease, you can stay fine and you have a strong immunity to fight against the virus. Everyone has an in-build immunity but when the majority of the population are opting to take the vaccination, you will also have to abide by the government rules and remove your hesitation to take the vaccine.

In my city, there are two ways of getting vaccinated for people of 18 years and above, either you can book an appointment slot on the COWIN website and get an appointment at your nearby vaccination centre or you can keep yourself updated with the timings of the centres and directly do your on the spot registration for the vaccination. It is your choice completely but you need to ensure that you travel safely from your home to the centre and come back home safely as well.

Take a sanitizer, handkerchiefs, water bottle, chocolates, biscuits with you in your bag as you may require them at the centre.

Whenever you touch any surface or sit at any place, just ensure to apply sanitizer to your hands even if the officials apply sanitizer and disinfectant spray, it is always good to be safe ourselves than expect anything from others.

Once you get the vaccination done, ensure that when you come back home, you wash all the dresses and kerchiefs that you had taken with a disinfectant soap and take a complete bath after taking some amount of rest.

COVID-19 Vaccines are like medicines that are trying to save our lives from the coronavirus outbreak and thus, it may feel tired and painful to the body for some days, but all will be fine if you take rest and keep your mind calm.
