Zoom launches two-factor authentication to improve users’ security

Video meet app Zoom has launched Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for extra security.

The idea is to provide admins and companies the data security of the users and also protect them from any security flaws.

If you want to start Zoom’s 2FA at the account-level for password-based authentication, then you can sign-in to the Zoom Dashboard as account admins.

The company released a statement, which read, “In the navigation menu, click Advanced, then Security. Make sure the Sign in with Two-Factor Authentication option is enabled. Select one of these options to enable 2FA for: All users in your account: Enable 2FA for all users in the account.”

The app also allows users to have particular roles and certain groups as well.

Appreciate Zoom’s initiative to support companies to avoid the risk of identity theft and security breaches.
