After the Redmi launch watch in China, Its parent company Xiaomi has now launched the Mi Watch Lite for global markets. The company has not relevant its pricing and other details of the watch, but a look and its design reveal everything that it is a rebrand of the Redmi Watch.
Features and Specifications of Xiaomi Watch:
- Mi Watch Lite features a similar design and even specs when compared to the Redmi Watch.
- There’s a square-shaped screen with the watch weighing just 35g with the strap and 31g without the strap.
- The Mi Watch Lite is an NFC-enabled offering which also supports Bluetooth 5.0 LE.
- The smartwatch comes with a 1.4-inch display with a 320×320 resolution and an interesting square form factor.
- The display supports features such as automatic brightness control based on ambient lighting conditions.
- The Mi Watch Lite further comes pre-installed with multiple fitness modes and the ability to monitor heart rate continuously.
- The Redmi Watch can be paired with the Mi Fit app to customise it with multiple watch faces.
- Xiaomi also offers multiple sports modes including running, cycling and indoor swimming.
- The watch is also water-resistant up to 50 meters and as mentioned above has a heart rate sensor that can give 24-hour heart monitoring and also a 30-day report of the user’s resting heart rate.
- The new smartwatch from The Mi Watch Lite furthers brings with itself the ability to monitor sleep, and also brings suggestions for breathing exercises.
- The watch offers a 9-day battery life on typical usage, as it comes using a 230mAh battery that can be fully charged in 2 hours.
The company has announced the Mi Watch Lite in three different watch cases and five strap colours. The colours include Pink, Ivory, Black, Navy blue, and Olive.
As of now, there’s no information on the pricing or availability of the device. It is expected that after the global launch, the device will be made available in specific markets where the company will announce pricing and availability details separately.
